Subject: Excessive EMF radiation emitting from storm water drains and sewer lines

Since after the beginning of this year, I have notice pulsing reverberating throughout my house to the point of nausea, constipation, insomnia, acute insomnia, swelling of calves, fingers tingling electricity, joint aches, tachycardia, and I feel like I am sleeping inside of a microwave oven so to speak.

It’s just I can’t sell my house fast enough to move out to the countryside or if I can benefit from putting a Faraday canopy over my bed but it still pulses though my house

I may be hearing impaired all my life but most people do not understand the true nature of hearing loss. Everyone is affected different due to the millions of hair cells in their ear and it’s dependent upon those affected.

My zip code is 36109 and I have almost exhausted every effort in the last three weeks for resolve. Ranging from mechanical engineers, City and County Engineers, Alabama Power, Montgomery Water and Sewer Authority and now, I am about to meet with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.

There is a lot of infrastructure going on with fiber optics being installed via ditch witch equipment, seeing new transponders being placed on top of utility poles throughout the city, orange lines being placed inside manhole sewer lines around the city.

Montgomery has been selected as on of the five super internet highways in the country but I still cannot figure out why it is used in water systems. I understand that sonic technology is used to break down solids in waste water management. When I use an EMF meter over a storm drain or faucet drain, the meter is measuring almost off the charts.

What is my best course of action here other than to move?

    Please advise and thank you,

    Vincent Jackson

I have also being suffering from this hum noise, a hissing noise, and now another noise that is hard to describe. I had my utility provider out here and they said they did not hear anything. REALLY! They had no equipment and I wrote a formal complaint saying they need to come out and see what is causing this God awful noise. I did receive a response and assume they will come after the holidays to check it out. In the meantime I am taking herbs and bee propolis to help manage the stress this is causing to my body (to include heart palpitations, and a feeling like electric current coming through my feet). It is comforting to know I am not alone, or my mother who also hears it and is causing her to deteriorate from being a spry 78 year old women to hobbling around with constant joint pain, nausea, dizziness etc.

I think if we all get together and document our issues we have a legal standing to start a class A lawsuit against the EPA, and anyone else who allows this torture to continue. The saying goes, for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. You are not alone and there are many of us. Let’s work together to end this madness.

Subject: Hum that is making my life miserable

    Date: Fri, Nov 16, 2018 9:24 am

I just read an article on the hum and I’ve been experience this for two weeks now… I feel like I’m literally going crazy and don’t know what to do… I’ve had the utility company come and check the meter and an electrician come and cut the power off in the house and I still heard the sound ….. I live in Florissant, Mo ( 30 minutes from St. Louis, mo). It’s 24/7 and worse at night… I’m sleep deprived and can tell me mood changes when at home

    Hello friend-

I’m not sure who I am writing to, but my quest to diagnose a constant hum in my house and surrounding neighborhood has led me to this address.

I moved into a brand new, very small home in May, surrounded by woods and water in a beautiful area in Northern Michigan. The silence around me soothed my soul. About 2 months ago, when the weather started to cool, I noticed a constant hum, like a fan or generator that never stopped. Initially I thought it had something to do with a fan system in my crawl space, so I shut off all power to my home (several times) to try to determine the source of the hum. No luck, it persisted, even though the power was off.

Then, when I was outside, I noticed that I could still hear it. Someone suggested that it could be coming from a neighbor’s heat pump. So I walked the neighborhood trying to determine whose house a sound like this might be coming from, only to discover the sound was everywhere I went. It began to dawn on me that this was not an isolated sound, that it was coming from a much larger source.

I called the local electric company to ask for suggestions. Initially the customer service person was cheerful, but after putting me on hold for a few minutes, came back on the line and rather curtly told me it was not their problem and to hire an electrician to help me determine the cause of the problem. Although I tried to explain that I felt it was a bigger problem than just my house she was just rude and unwilling to discuss further. I asked for the names of her superiors. I refuse to believe this is not a problem that involves my utility company.

Next on my to-do list is to start talking to my neighbors to find out if any of them hear the hum. I have had a few people in my home who can hear it, others who can’t. I am incredibly sensitive to noise and have had trouble sleeping, even before the arrival of the hum. I am considering purchasing a pair of headphones that might help me drown out the sound. Sometimes I am able to push it out of my head, but most of the time I can’t.

I am open to any and all suggestions, and especially interested in finding out if there are other people in my area of Michigan with this problem.

    I appreciate your time.

I live in Cool, California – it’s a rural area up in the Foothills of California. It’s been almost a year now that I started hearing this continuous low hum in our home. I walked around the entire house and tried to find the source. I went outside many times to see if I could hear this humming noise and it was outside too, I couldn’t pinpoint the hum to any specific location because it seem to be all around me, so I then just figured it was outside noise echoing through the canyon from the Quarry that is about 2.5 miles from our home.

But I know that the Quarry doesn’t run all night and I would hear it even louder at night and I wake up several times every night. But I don’t have trouble falling right back to sleep. I asked my husband and children if they could hear the low hum, and they cannot. So I decided to schedule an appointment with my ear doctor to see if an earwig or some other little bug got inside my ear and was messing with my eardrum. The audiologist ran hearing tests on my and also put a camera in my ear and seen that my eardrums were retracted on both sides. He said this is more than likely caused by blocked tubes in my ears so he prescribed me nasal drops to use to help with opening the tubes in my ears. I am to see him in a couple of more months to see if they are still retracted.

I was reading that the noise (hum) and cause pressure in the ears, and that could be the reason for retraction. I am sensitive to low frequencies so I am hearing this darn hum non stop 24/7.

I never heard this sound before; or if it was there; my ears didn’t pick it up. The ear doctor said I am more sensitive to the low frequency sounds because my eardrums are retracted. Are your eardrums retracted? Did you have the testing done to see if they were? I’m just curious if that is why some can hear it and some can’t?

    In response to Sandaura:

This is all good information but no one has time to read it all. What we need to know in simple terms, is WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT? Who exactly is to blame? Where is it coming from? And what City or State department should be held accountable for removing the problem?

I have been living with this problem for several years now near the 8 Mile and Middle Belt intersection in Livonia, Michigan. At first I was blaming the Cement company at the end of the road but after realizing that it might be an electrical sound, I recall a new cable company ran lines through our neighborhoods about the time this all started.

I wish someone could tell me what to do next?
    It is truly unbearable.

Can not sleep at night and ear plugs do not help!

I drove everywhere as suggested and I heard the noise everywhere. They have ems testing available for homes and RF low frequency testing. I made an appt. to check out our house for tomorrow.

They have plug ins to reduce EMS on wiring in homes for a cost of course.

Since our smart meters are on the inside wall of our foyer I thought it would be worth getting a report on how much dirty electricity from different sources were happening. I see people on the internet lining there bedrooms with aluminum.

Does any of this affect the hum.

Yes ,I checked on old news reports .Seems that smart meters were installed in 2011. I didn’t recall exactly when I started to hear the hum but it was around that time. For the first long while {years} I thought it was coming from perhaps a new piece of equipment at the lumber mill here in Chemainus. I went out at night when there was a power outage and all was quiet at the mill but the hum was loud and clear inside and outside my home . At that point I had been holding on to the hope that I could just move away but since then I’ve been to Okotoks, Alberta and heard the exact same hum. The same in Kelowna B.C.

Lately I’ve been driving around at night to see if there are any areas without the hum and found by accident a motel in Comox Vancouver Island that I could hear no hum in the room. Since it is a 2 hour drive from my home and costs 100 dollars a night my respite was for 2 days only. That’s why I was wondering if the cement block construction and the separate wiring in each suite would create a barrier.

Unfortunately when I was there I didn’t go out and drive around after 11pm when it was quiet. Perhaps that’s what I should do. I have worn headphones every night so I can sleep for the last 6 years. Before that I would try to fall asleep with the TV on . I’m telling you all this so if there is ever any recourse to ending this, you will add my name to the record.

There is a scientist in Canada in BC who started a World Hum map and you will be able to see all the places in Canada and around the world where people are reporting this specific pulsing infrasound. Our smart meter is install inside our home in the front foyer approximately 12 t0 15 feet from a bedroom. Is there anywhere or anything I can do besides moving into the middle of nowhere and getting off grid.

Comment: I did not experienced this myself however my wife does. She kept complaining about noise vibration . I could not hear a thing , went through the whole house for me it was mouse stil. I started to wonder about our sanities. So I started to investigate on the net and found out about this grit and although I can,t do anything about it I could tell

My wife that her noises were real. A small bit of satisfaction considering after 64 years of marRiage we had started to have arguments about her noise and my silence.

In March of 2017 we bought a house in rural Minnesota in Boy Lake Township. Immediately we noticed a deep low humming sound, especially at night when sleeping in our bedroom, but often throughout the house and outside.

We contacted the power company to come out and check for the noise, but they couldn’t find anything. I did some research and discovered articles about the Smart Grid HUM Syndrome. I contacted the power company again and questioned them about the HUM, but they denied it.

We have turned power off and still hear the HUM. In electrical outages during a thunderstorm, we still hear the HUM.

Please help make it stop. It’s very annoying and hard to get a good night’s sleep.

    Thank you.

Just today I found the following website and am responding with my story about this affliction.

About three years or so ago I first noticed the noise as described on this website. I first phoned an electrician to check my wiring. I had Eversource and Verizon come out to check their equipment. Nobody could find the source of the noise.

In the past month or so the noise has become progressively worse especially with all the rain and around the time of the full moon. I phoned both Eversource and Verizon and requested their technicians come out to investigate. Both companies say the noise has nothing to do with their lines or equipment. The tech from Verizon said he’d never heard anything like the noise and described it as an “oscillating” noise. The tech from Eversource asked if anyone in the area has an electric or invisible fence which my next door neighbor has. Around the time the noise first began there had been a violent electrical storm that I remembered my next door neighbor said ripped their invisible fence right out of the ground. So I phoned the neighbor the next day and asked them to shut the fence off over the next few days at random times, and then we’d compare notes. It was a Sunday afternoon that I finally realized peace, except for a slight what I’d call a “trickle” of noise, but nothing like what it had been. Come to find out it was that time that the neighbor had shut the invisible fence down. He said he’s shut the fence down at night so I could sleep, but the noise persists. So, the situation has escalated because it is true that those afflicted by this horror are desperate to know the truth about where the noise is coming from; in a word, it is TORTURE.

There are times that it is so loud that it jolts me right out of a sleep — when, that is, I am able to sleep.

Oddly, over the winter, from about mid- to late- January until the snow melted, I didn’t hear the noise. I am wondering if the invisible fence, though not the complete cause of the noise, could be creating parasitic oscillation with the power lines that run parallel to the fence perhaps 100′ if that. Something is causing the noise and it is so unbearable that I have contacted my State Rep, Steve Kulik, the Board of Health here in my town of Worthington, as well as the police department.

Until I found this website today I have done a good job of alienating my neighbors who did have the company that installed their invisible fence come out to test the fence for breaks and defects though they said they could find none. The fence runs on radio frequency. Oddly, this same neighbor claims he “can’t hear a thing.” It is difficult for me to believe that not one person in that household (there are three people there) can not hear this noise. Yet their dog who is contained by the invisible fence has become noticeably more aggressive in the past year.

It is impossible to describe to others what this does to our lives; it is absolute despair. I live in a very rural community and for 20 years, though the winters can be rugged, the summers are heavenly and nothing more of a luxury than falling asleep to the absolute peace at night that I so enjoyed until this hideous invasive noise began around the summer of 2015.

I really don’t know what I’m going to do. Nothing drowns the noise out to get a good night’s sleep. It comes right up through the floor, through the walls, into my pillow. My cat jumps to the highest place she can find or buries herself way under the covers and head-presses. More recently she’s started to pull her fur out though her diet has not changed at all. This causes chronic sleep deprivation, nausea, headaches, and horrible ear pain.

I will do anything to find out what is causing it and believe that we must hold our Legislators responsible to put a stop to this absolute madness technology is imposing upon us. Why is it that we never vote on things like satellites being hurled into our heavens?

Someone recently suggested using a Gauss meter to determine the magnetic field frequencies and also the use of tuning forks.

Please feel free to contact me. Something has got to put an end to this. It is just horrible. There is no place on my property that I can escape it, and I hear it for quite some distance throughout my neighborhood. Some hear it, some don’t.

    Thank you for your help.

I live in the Netherlands and have been hearing the hum for a week. I’ve had breast cancer recently and wonder if I’ve begun to hearing it due to anxiety but I am hearing it! Worse is that now at night I feel the pulse of the hum vibrating in my back when I try to sleep. When I was in Germany last month I experienced the same thing in a hotel room. I took Valerian root to sleep but if this continues like this I won’t be able to function so I’m very concerned. I saw the hum map and Holland has lots of dots. To the people who don’t believe this one just sound’s very sad.

I keep hearing the objectionable pulsing noises. I hate it. it is very bad in my current residence especially… though, not only here. it feels not only like noise pollution but like a targeted noise frequency attack. I can’t stand it. wtf?!!? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I’m soon moving from this place… but I am truly praying my next home does not have this very distressing, intolerable, unbearable, major problem… the frequent raised levels of objectionable pulsing frequency noises feels like unlawful, harmful abuse; targeted at me n my home by external perpetrators who r assaulting me n my sanctuary. this is human rights violations. we also have rights to our peace n quiet enjoyment in n of our homes… however these unwanted, non-
consensual, offensive, distressing, polluting, objectionable noise frequency pulsation attacks r transgressing n trespassing against we a people; our rights; our well being, our property… n certainly make our rights to our peace n quiet enjoyment of our homes absolutely impossible. how dare they!!!??? ***

I live in Los Angeles close to Santa Monica and Culver City neighborhoods. Since January 2018 I’ve been hearing constant low humming coming from all around inside in my apartment. I’ve been living in this apartment since September 2011 and I never heard this before. I checked with the landlord and neighbors and they said they don’t hear anything.

It’s unbearable loud during the night when there is no traffic going on but it also happens during the day too. It’s continuously pulsating, humming, buzzing, rumbling, gurgling like a motor diesel running idle 24/7. I have headaches, tingl
es in my body and I am dizzy all the time.

Do you know an expert in this case that is in or close to Los Angeles? Could you recommend someone who can check my situation and help me with this issue, please? I am very much appreciative of any help.

I am relieved to have found you during my research. I have been hearing a humming noise only inside and outside my house, during the day and it’s not a noise in my head or in my ear but I seem to only hear it through my right ear.

I work from home a lot and in a very calm/quiet area surrounded by nature on 11 acres where there are no cell towers but close power lines. It is often dead silent and as I work, with no noise and I hear the humming.

At night I sleep with a fan on so I don’t hear it at night. I have also been suffering from insomnia and wondering if this all connected. I’ve been in this house for 4 years and just started hearing the humming this year as this year is the first year I have lived alone in this house. Today I sit here typing and can hear the humming and something prompted me to look this up and that is where I can across some blogs and your information and am listening to your youtube video (speakupandstavealive). I live in Mansfield/Ontario, Ohio off a road called Sheirer Rd. Interesting enough yesterday and the day before we had really bad thunderstorms and the power was coming on and off.

I wanted to reach out to you to let you know my experience and to learn more to see what proactive measures I can take to help with this problem. I am an advocate for healthy living and do not fall/listen to the government and media for I know we are all being intentionally “sickened” in many ways including our food, water, environment, visually, etc.

This is horrible and not fair, they leak chemicals in our environment, now I find out this. It’s just sickening and so very concerning. I think I’m more aware of this as I am being “awakened” to many things. All of what you are saying makes complete sense to me and just fires me up and confirms what I know.

Thank you for taking the time to read my email. Continue doing what you are doing and continue the fight! I appreciate it.

I am currently experiencing the same thing. For me it started about a month ago. I hear a high pitched hissing sound and a low humming noise, all day, non-stop (though worse at night). It is not my ears, or tinnitus, it is real and it is a weapon when it makes someone feel like their head is going to explode.

My little dog is not acting normal, she keeps looking around like she hears something when there is nothing to be seen. A few months back she started to have seizures. Because she is small and lower to the ground it could be she is feeling the effects of what they term, “stray voltage”.

I called my electric provider who came out and stood for 5 minutes and said he did not hear anything. Funny, 2 days later a supervisor showed up on our property unannounced and just started looking around. Said he would check into it and left. I think it is possible they are using my land and home as an electrical hub that collects all the smart meter readings and then sends them to a base station. Not sure how to get help with this as everyone denies culpability.

But my one peaceful tiny home is becoming a prison of high frequency mind disturbing noise 24/7.

    I’m from Layton, Utah.

I just started hearing the hum on Friday. I started getting sick that day with a cold (sore throat and runny nose). Maybe that somehow contributed to being able to hear it somehow. What’s weird is that I had ear plugs in and I still heard and maybe felt the noise and I was a little scared. I went downstairs to sleep and still heard the noise. I’m so sad to learn about this smart meter problem. I’m extra sensitive to smells and sounds so I’m surprised I didn’t notice this hum before. I have noticed other smells and sounds throughout the years that my husband hasn’t and he just thought I was crazy for all those others things. I’m scared what he’s going to say when I tell him about this smart meter hum problem.

Dear Friends – this email may be one the most important emails I ever write. Please read through to the end as there is information contained herein that pertains to the well-being of our lives and that of our children and grandchildren.

Over the past month, I have become increasingly ill due to the frequencies that are now being blasted at us 24/7 through the radiation grid. I have been hearing these frequencies for about two years and was hearing them even when I lived 20 minutes outside of the city in Columbia, MO. To me, these frequencies sound like a constant, low-frequency, metallic, mosquito-like hum.

For a while, the sound was annoying, especially at night, but over the last month, it has become almost unbearable. The noise is so loud that I have had many nights where I am unable to sleep. My head is experiencing immense pressure and many times during the day I feel nauseous and unable to think straight. My heart is experiencing arrhythmias and palpitations and, in general, I am feeling extremely unwell.

Both of my parents are also experiencing major symptoms of what can only be called radiation poisoning and frequency assault. My father is rapidly losing his memory. He has difficulty balancing himself when he stands. He is experiencing leg cramps and has lost his sense of smell. He has also developed thyroid cancer and has spots on his lungs, and all of this has occurred within the last year.

My mother is experiencing respiratory problems and came close to death twice over the last year. She has other health issues as well, but the severe respiratory problems, which now require her to walk around the house with an oxygen machine, are fairly new.

ALL of these symptoms can be found listed as health effects caused from excessive exposure to microwave radiation and EMFs. Check out this page for more info about this.

I have metered these frequencies in Portland Oregon and now in Lincoln City Oregon.
It shouldn’t be the same 3hours difference … When my nieces come to my home or my friends their skin burns, they get headaches and earache.
I have metered frequencies, WiFi, electrical. I have measured the radiation within my home…
I turned down a smart meter at the cost of $135.00 and $35.00 per month which is rape for not wanting more RADS.

I have fought with my electric company for over a month they finally agreed to take smart meter off my home and put a analog meter on fir $70 a month. I told them I’m disabled and on a fixed income and that would strain my finances. They said take or leave it.

The ringing in my eats is driving me crazy. At night I can still hear it with all the other houses meters pointing at my house. If I step out my front door the Radio Frequency is so high in my neighborhood. Its pulsing at extremely high dangerous frequency.

I don’t know what to do. I feel like the electric company is extorting money out of me every month and I have no say about my health or the charges on my bill every month. Don’t people with compromised health issues have any rights or any one for that matter? I am getting sicker by the day and now my hair is falling out.

This morning, I had a roofer come to check my attic and roof to ensure there were no bee hives and there were no broken roof materials making the hum.

Surprise! He told me that he could hear the hum and felt ear pressure like he was in an airplane. He could hear the hum in all area downstairs – living room, den, family room and kitchen. He went up to the attic from the walk-in closet of the master bedroom at the 2nd floor. He told me that he could still hear the hum in the attic.

This is the first person who can hear what I hear.

I told my spouse about this person could hear the hum the first time he came to our house let alone how much I have been through for years in my house.

I have been hearing humming sound in my house for years almost 7×24. It bothers my sleep in the evening.
I don’t hear it in the office in a nearby city. It sounds like a car left idle in the distance but there is nothing left running outside the house.
At times, it sounds like a concert paying low frequency bass in the park far away from my house but there is no concert outdoors in the winter.

Recently, it gets much stronger. I contacted electricity, gas and water companies to check their equipment. Nothing was found.

I could hear the same hum at two of my neighbors’ houses next to my house.
My spouse and my neighbors do not hear it.

Last night, when it got really loud, I tried to match it with a tone generator from my computer and it was about 215 Hz.

I really wish the hum would disappear soon so I can have good night sleep.

I had Eric Windheim do a survey in my house a while back. He discovered some things, including some dirty power sources (some that I have resolved) and some wiring code ‘violations’ (which he then helped fix), but he didn’t seem to detect the sound that I hear. His speculation was that perhaps my body/mind were experiencing some of these other sources/issues in the way that I perceive them. Not long after this effort, the noise seemed to subside for months. Occasionally I would hear it faintly, but not that it was preventing me from falling asleep or waking me up at night.

The noise is back, and prevalent. Although my wife claims that she has heard it a couple of times, she thinks I am hearing things inside my own head. Sometimes when I talk about it, she looks at me as if I am crazy. Some of my friends think I’m crazy. There have been moments where I have started to question myself, but then I walk back into my house after being away at work all day and I can suddenly hear the noise again. Recently, I had to leave my house in the middle of the night and I went and parked my car in a concrete parking garage to get some sleep. The irony is, I drive an electric car and I was charging it while I slept…in relative peace. Here I was, in an uncomfortable position, but I could actually sleep in my car…away from my house!

I am concerned that this is going to drive me crazy. I can tell that it affects my brain in a bad way. I also believe that it is affecting my heart. Of course, the lack of sleep will have horrible long-term effects.

I apologize for the long-winded story, but here is what I am wondering…

I know that you were able to detect the ‘pure tones’. Eric’s meters didn’t seem to pick these up. Of course, I was hoping for some validation and didn’t get any. Do you have any thoughts on what I can do, what meter to rent, etc. in order to truly determine if there are pure tones that are present in my house?

Once again, thank you for the work that you are doing! Please keep it up!! At the moment, this is a very lonely place to be. I know that you were there at one point.

You are truly helping people like me keep some sanity in all of this.

    Hello –

I have no idea whether the source is in or outside my home, but it is about to drive me crazy. I am convinced that it has caused a hearing problem in one of my ears. I have a hard time sleeping at night. In fact, I was awoken once again by it and cannot go back to sleep due to constant nuisance. I live in Rancho Murieta, CA.

Can you please help by telling me how I can check to see if the sounds I am hearing might be the source you are referring to? How do I check the frequencies?

My name is Jeanice Barcelo and I reading your website in earnest.

I wanted to connect to let you know I in New York, on Long Island, in a town called Massapequa Park. I have been hearing the frequencies for about a year but it seems they have amped up the attack in the last two weeks. I cannot sleep.

The noise keeps me up and feeling extremely agitated and fearful. There is enormous pressure in my head and ears. Sometimes, I feel extremely nauseous, which may a sign of microwave sickness.

I have been researching prenatal ultrasound and realize they are causing extreme stress on the crystals in our ears, pineal gland, cerebrospinal fluid, blood, and bones. This is a severe biological assault and it is potentially deadly. We have got to do something en masse to put an end to this and those who are behind this.

Can you please add me to your email list and let me know of any group plans or class action suits or anything at all that might effectuate change. I am desperate. The utility company is giving me the runaround and has not even been willing to remove the damn ‘opt-out’ meter — which also emit dirty radiation and these horrid manmade frequencies.

They are trying to kill us. We have to do something.

I keep hearing the objectionable pulsing noises. i hate it. it is very bad in my current residence especially… tho not only here. it feels not only like noise pollution but like a targeted noise frequency attack. i can’t stand it. wtf?!!? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I’m moving soon from this place… but i m truly praying my next home does not or won’t ever have this very distressing, intolerable, unbearable, major problem.

The frequent raised levels of objectionable pulsing frequency noises feels like unlawful, harmful abuse; targeted at me n my home by external perpetrators who r assaulting me n my sanctuary. this is human rights violations. we also have rights to our peace n quiet enjoyment in n of our home.

However these unwanted, non-consensual, offensive, distressing, polluting, objectionable noise frequency pulsation attacks r transgressing n trespassing against we a people; our rights; our well being, our property and certainly make our rights to our peace and quiet enjoyment of our homes absolutely impossible. Comment: Hi, I live in Irvine, California. Recently So Cal Edison sent us a notice of scheduled black out on Jan 16, 2018 to upgrade transformer in Woodbridge community. Then they sent a notice of choice to stay with the current payment plan or new TOU (time of use) plan. I believe that was when Edison has started to send pulse on power line 24/7 for two way communication. I believe to manage TOU plan they need to fully upgrade my area to so called “smart grid”.

Right after Jan 16 I started hearing low humming, buzzing and thudding noise in my home 24/7. It is so irritating and almost torture. Having hard time to sleep and no place in my home is safe from this annoying noise. I even hear the same noise in a car parked in front of my house, actually on most of the road in my community.

I never thought this could happen to me, but need to look for the way to get rid of this irritation somehow, no matter what.

Yes, I do hear these noises. The sound like a car running and thudding noises!! I also hear what sounds like a tv or radio downstairs and so has some of my friends and family while visiting for the weekend. When we try to find where the sound is coming from , we have no luck.

We just thought maybe this place is haunted. Since living in this house I have developed asthma and my 3 little girls have also!!! We thought maybe it might be a mold or pollen from outside. I have also developed migraine headaches and dizziness.

One of my little girls has a thyroid condition and I have recently developed Reflux and issues as well!!!

Please keep me updated on this information.

Hi, and thanks for your blog, I’m finally clear on what this sound is that has been tormenting me for years and has kept me feeling helpless and depressed. I’ve been thinking if I could only get used to the sound somehow I would be okay, but I’ve been worried that it’s physically damaging and now I understand that it is… And all sentient life is being affected.

Is there anywhere safe in this country or the world where one does not hear this sound?

Please let me know how I can help. I can write more. And can you link me to the smart meter testimonial page?

What do I do?… If Even ear plugs and blocking the sound does not keep the frequency out…

I’m still curious, is it ultrasonic sound? Are we hearing it through our ears or our sacchules, our ultrasonic hearing organ? If it’s ultrasound it’s not possible to block it out using a Faraday cage or similar construction, or is it? I have a concept for a shielded tiny house business called shielded sanctuaries, but is there any known protection for this?

Thank you so much for your work.

I found your Sandaura’s blog this morning because I continue to experience this rumbling hum vibration which has been waking me up – this morning around 4:30 am.

I downloaded an audio app which shows a visual of what it detects in my home. I live in Naples, FL but have heard this also in different places I have lived. I began wondering if I should sell and move again if there are places where this is not present.

I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and I hope this is not a cause of it.

I don’t know exactly what the graph below means or if it correlates with your data but thought I’d reach out to you for some explanation and help with getting relief from this phenomenon.

I think it’s smart meters – but I have no idea for sure. It feels like it changes your body chemistry – it’s disturbing. so happy to see it printed in the NY Times. some people hear it and some people don’t…

Finally found an article that understand what I’m experiencing. Its constant 24hr low hum when there’s no noise in the house. I’m the only one at home who can hear it.

What ever info I can provide, please let me know. Also, is there anything I can do to make it stop or do I have any legal rights?

I Live in Abingdon MD. We live in a townhouse community. We have been living here at the same location for 14yrs.

I started noticing the hum around Feb. 2015. That’s when I started looking at YouTube videos and searching online I found your sight. .BG&E installed to read the meter from the outside, I believe that was installed a few years after moving in.

I really though I was tapping into the earths vibration until I realized I wasn’t hearing the hum outside the house. I think maybe there’s to much background noise outside preventing me from hearing the hum.

I have no clue what it is. I do know, its becoming irritating when I’m trying to rest. Some nights its so loud, I have to play music in the background to drown out the humming. Also, I have not contacted anyone concerning this.

Started hearing about 2 years ago. Duration from several days up to over a week. Amplitude also varies. Noise can be heard lightly outdoors, louder indoors and loudest when ear muffs worn. Can be detected zip code 96797 & 96795 on same days. Need to sleep with fan on to disrupt resonance, but some hum still can be detected. No smart meters at both locations. One location rural, other suburban, both low population. Both places share high DOD presence.

I am in the UK and I can hear this too. My Local Authority landlord love to play “the nutcase game” and blame residents ; ie; “you must be sensitive to noise, so we can’t help you.” They claim they cannot do anything if a sole person complains, but I have told them my nearest neighbours are 80+ and 70+ (adjoining walls) and the third neighbour with adjoining wall works in a noisy shopping centre so they are all likely to have worse hearing that I. I have not worked in such noisy place, nor am I anywhere near 70. Being an introvert who enjoys and needs quiet I find myself ridiculed and berated by my Council landlord (here in Pocahontas country) who claim in their Mission Statement: “Delivering for the Community” – seems that Community does not involve people who do not want 24 hours a day noise.

Sorry, if this detracts from your issue, I felt it was a little similar. The hum, as we all experience it, is tormenting and I too stand with you in getting a solution! Not sure if I can sign the Attorney General petition being over this side of the pond, but I wish you every success!

I shall share your link at twitter next time I log in (currently on a dimmed screen due to migraine so will do another day). Best of luck to you both, and to everybody around the world who is tormented by this horrible noise.

    Kind regards,

Shar @twilight7609 at twitter, in case you are there too.

I cannot sleep and have nausea, pounding headache, wake up with muscles hurting for no reason. It is going on here but in South Carolina no one will speak of it because you would sound crazy.

Hi Sandaura: It has been sometime since we “spoke” but I wanted to let you know I am encountering the “HUM” more and more places besides the Seattle area. I am currently in Lincoln City, Oregon and the “HUM” is quite strong in the area where my sister lives. She said that the “smart” meters were installed in her area about 5 months ago. My sister and her husband don’t here the “HUM” but it is really aggravating to me, an assault on my ear drums. It is the typical pulsating deep hum. The power company is Pacific Power. Just thought you might find this of interest. If there is anything I can do to bring more attention to this hazard to our well being, please let me know. All the best, Geri Kraft

    Hello from Seattle Washington:

I am a victim of a low pulsing humming droning noise that is in the environment but seems to be amplified by my home and car. It is truly unbearable at times. I can hear it outside if I listen carefully but it is like a roar to me at times in my home and car. I am trying to figure out what is causing it as I have lived in my home for 38 years and just started hearing it slightly last summer but the intensity has grown to disturbing proportions.

In the Seattle area, there are a number of major construction projects that include the installation or removal of pilings. For the removal, the method of removal uses a giant crane with a VIBRO hammer uses to loosen pilings so they can be pulled out of the ground. At the same time, there is a project to rebuild a huge ferry dock where they are driving in new pilings. I think these projects are setting up ground vibrations as I can hear the “sound” in my basement.

My hands and wrists tingle in the morning and my ears feel under constant pressure.

I have gone to the powers that be here in Seattle trying to figure out what is going on at night that is creating this horrific noise and am not getting very far with the bureaucrats. I think the damage that must be happening to people unknowingly is outrageous. I know that many people don’t hear the sound the way I do, but their bodies are still being subjected to the vibrations which cannot be good. I too, cannot sleep well and feel under siege from the noise. I am just praying that what I am hearing is caused by these construction projects that will be completed in the next 3 to 6 months.

I hope I am not crazy by then and my body hasn’t suffered to greatly. I would be happy to hear from any of you regarding this problem in Seattle. The City of Seattle will not come to my home and measure the sounds. I would have to hire someone to do that and I don’t think the City cares about what is happening to the public. This is a real problem for me and I must be a classic case of the type of person who is suffering from noise over which they have no control.

    Geri M. Kraft,
    Seattle, WA. 98116

I took a drive last night and went about 7 miles from my home and I could hear the droning when I stopped, turned my car engine off and listened. I was amazed that I could hear the droning so far from my home and so the noise may not be from pile driving but from the smart grid. Where I live is near TV transmitter towers, airports, both Boeing Field and Sea Tac as well as the Port of Seattle and shipping channels. There are red blinking lights all over indicating flight paths, navigation buoys, and flight obstacles such as bridges, high cranes etc. There are radio frequency towers showing up on new buildings all over the place as well as 3 large TV transmitter towers less than 3 miles away as the crow flies. I can’t not say what the source of the droning is, but I could hear it in my car far away from where the piling removal and installations are happening. It may well be that the both radio frequencies and the piling projects are contributing to the problem,

I have been told that the piling projects for the most part are not working at night so that is why I have been trying to find another cause of the problem. I parked my car on Alki Beach across Puget Sound from the TV transmitter towers and in the midst of all of the communications, flashing light warning signals etc. and I physically felt sick just sitting in my car amid all of this. Something is really amiss here in Seattle and why I sense it more than most is not known to me, but I think there is a real problem here and it may well be from the smart grid. We have unprecedented real estate construction and development here so all utilities and communications installations are expanding hugely.

I don’t know the science regarding what can cause vibrational noise, but I know that a vast area of Seattle is being affected by something whether they can hear it or not. Gook luck with your important work.

Did anyone else start hearing the Hum after PG&E installed Smart Meters?

My hearing is gradually worsening. Right now I am sitting in my car in the country to get away from the damaging nonstop assault. Sleeping at homes of relatives/ friends or in my car has not helped. I can’t get away from it. My friends and family don’t hear it but are open minded about it.

None but one has researched the Smart Grid issue and she feels that there is cause for concern.

Please, how can I save my hearing? I’ve tried different ways to block the noises but they permeate every barrier.

Comment: After complaining and sending letters to my electric company about the horrible frequencies coming from the smart meter, I noticed a change from loud constant on/off pulsating frequencies and a high pitched tone to a more subtle nonstop buzzing sound. I couldn’t sleep in my house a few months after the smart meter was installed. I did not notice the problem until i closed the house up for the winter season. I would wake up every night about 2:30 a.m. with headaches, muscle spasms, hearing loss, etc. I tried sleeping in my car. I stayed with relatives and friends, but i could not sleep as they also had the new meters. Sometime this Spring 2018, I noticed the change in the frequencies.

Now it is a low nonstop buzzing sound. When I lay down, I can feel my body vibrate. It is a sickening feeling. I stay away from the house as much as possible. I have had a number of health problems, one after the other since the meter was installed. I had good health and good energy before the new installation. I have vertigo, double vision on and off and low energy. I know the smart meter is negatively affecting my health. I wrote to Representative Glenn and DTE Utility and the Public Utility Commission. DTE and Rep Glenn never called or sent a reply. The Public Utility Commission was not helpful. The health of utility customers is being slowly destroyed, and the top dogs at the utility companies know this; they don’t care about the customers.

We are in serious trouble. I am one of the canaries in the coal mine…by the time people finally wake up to this hideous game, it may be too late to stop it. This is a crime so diabolical that most people will not want to believe it…even I would prefer not to believe it…but the criminals are banking on our choosing to deny what is blatantly in our face. We live in an age of mass denial on many levels.

I hope that there is a cosmic source of good that is going to help us through this difficult time because are going to need it.

Are you still active in your pursuit of answers? I am discouraged and have no idea where this noise or “hum” is coming from. Just trying to live with it and mask it at night as much as possible, but it is very hard. Hope you’re having better luck.

  45. Dear Defense Team,

I live in the countryside in New York state and there seems to be a problem with a low vibration type of humming. I am not the only person that can hear it. It goes on for 24 hours a day, day in and day out. Inside my house and outside. I hear it in other areas not near my home as well – even in the woods on top of a mountain.
A while ago it stopped for about 6 months only to continue once again.

I’ve tried to locate a source of the hum to no avail and also approached local representatives which was no help.

To be frank this constant humming gives me headaches and I find it difficult to sleep even with ear plugs. My once peaceful home has become something other than peaceful and I feel like I’ll have to move out but there are lots of places where I (and others) can hear it too.

I’m so happy to finally find someone who might have an inkling to what is going on!

Thank you for your time. I am desperate and don’t know where to turn. Any ideas on how I can get some sleep with this noise? I don’t think an alternate noise machine (white noise etc) will help.
