Today, I offer yet another example. When I first started following the field in the late 1970s, everyone was talking about the apparent ability of microwaves to cause substances to leak through the blood-brain barrier, first demonstrated by Allan Frey. Today, 50 years later, the issue remains unsettled. The cover-up started back in the 1970s, resumed in the 2000s, and continues today.
