Deborah, Last year, I launched a series of interviews with Democratic candidates for president called Uncovered because I felt the debates weren’t giving enough airtime to the life-or-death issue of health care. I had deeply personal conversations with candidates including Pete Buttigieg, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, and Julián Castro. And although we didn’t always see eye-to-eye, we all agreed that it’s time to change our broken health care system. Now, I’m excited to announce that I will be sitting down with the presumptive nominee Joe Biden to ask him the tough questions on health care that voters deserve to ask. But before I do, I wanted to ask all of you for your input: Is there anything you’re hoping to see me ask Joe about health care? Let me know what you want to hear by submitting a question right now. Submit your question COVID-19 has exposed how badly we need real health care reform. Over 42 million Americans have filed for unemployment since the pandemic began. Many of them are losing their health insurance because we as a country decided to tie it to employment. And with the news that hospitalized coronavirus patients are being discharged with bills in excess of a million dollars, it’s clear that this system is unsustainable at best and deadly at worst. It’s more important than ever we take real steps toward health care reform and know what Joe Biden’s plan is to do that. I’m planning on asking Joe to share his personal and powerful health care story and explain his vision for health care in America. There are tough, important questions we need to discuss if we want to truly create a future where health care is treated as a human right. Jessica Rosenworcel (born July 12, 1971) is an American attorney currently serving as a member of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). She originally served on the FCC from May 11, 2012 to January 3, 2017, and was confirmed by the Senate for an additional term on August 3, 2017.

Prior to joining the FCC, Rosenworcel practiced communications law.^[3] In 1999, she joined the Wireline Competition Bureau of the FCC, and in 2003 started working for then-FCC Commissioner Michael Copps.^[3] Starting in 2007, she served as Senior Communications Counsel to the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, under the leadership of Senator John D. Rockefeller IV (D–WV). She previously served in the same role on the Committee under the leadership of Senator Daniel K. Inouye (D–HI).^[4] In 2013, Rockefeller led a push to have Rosenworcel named to be the first female chair of the commission when former Chairman Julius Genachowski stepped down, although the position was ultimately given to Tom Wheeler.^[5]

The FCC’s obsolete “health” guidelines have enabled the uncontrolled proliferation of wireless and 5G. Despite the clear evidence of harms and calls from scientists, doctors, public health officials, states, cities and those who have become sick, the Telecom controlled FCC continues to claim “there is no evidence” and force 5G in our streets and near our homes.

… the letter to the FCC, dated June 17, the medical professionals said the FCC “completely ignores the documented adverse health effects that can occur at the FCC’s current radiofrequency (RF) exposure limits, much less those that may occur at the expanded range of frequencies contemplated in the proposed rule.”

Saying it “takes to heart” the FDA’s findings that “t]he weight of scientific evidence has not linked cell phones with any health problems,” the commission voted unanimously–with commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel concurring, which is short of a full-throated “aye,” to retain the current limits, but to adjust the rules” to ensure the health and safety of workers and consumers of wireless technology, while also clarifying and streamlining rules to reduce regulatory burdens on licensees.”

Excerpts: The BBC aired their File on Four offering “the 5G Con that could make you sick” on Tuesday 16th June on Radio 4. File on Four is an “Award-winning current affairs documentary series investigating major issues at home and abroad”.The programme featured well known go-to 5G proponent David Robert Grimes who, egged on by presenter Tom Wright, took a laboured and sneering tone of boredom throughout at having to repeat such basic facts.This tone matched the context, in which Electro Hypersensitivity Sufferers (EHS) were presented as ‘dangerously’ believing that their symptoms are related to Electro Magnetic Frequencies (EMF). As the programme lumbered on, these unfortunates were eventually presented virtually as a virus in their own right, with the power to infect the world with this belief.The eminent and influential award winning scientist and writer Dr Devra Davis pulled her contribution to the programme citing concerns about the context: “I refused to participate in the BBC program when it became clear that they had conducted a sting operation by fraudulently inviting me to talk about the science when all they wanted to do was try to make a mockery of the serious concerns many scientists have a about EHS” Dr Davis commented.
